Iv San Bernard 's story begins in 1995 when, after much research, I wanted to put my long experience in the field of cosmetics to good use and decided to explore a universe that at the time was still in the making: cosmetics for pets. A life-long story that has focused on knowledge and awareness of the key role played by animal cosmetics in the professional grooming industry as well as for those who take care of their four-legged friends every day. Nowadays pets, especially dogs and cats, have become an integral part of the family to all intents and purposes and as a result there has been an increasing tendency to seek the best for them. Owners tend to prefer a high quality standard, not only for pet food but also for animal cosmetics. It follows that pet industry is going to expand rapidly and consistently. IV San Bernard in 2021 grew by 45% over the previous year and we expect further growth in 2022. Thanks to the contribution of many experts, Iv San Bernard has developed a dozen lines of cosmetics for dogs and cats, for a total of over 150 different products, from maintenance products to those for preparation for exhibitions. As part of our range there are traditional and innovative cosmetics specific for hair types or for SPA treatments. Our continuous commitment to follow and create new trends has led Iv San Bernard to specialize in the production not only of high-quality equipment for groomers but also of a line of low-cost furnishings, with a captivating look and still some good quality. In addition to providing the accessories and tools used on the grooming table we can offer advice on how to best furnish a grooming salon, giving equal importance to functionality and design. Actually, the concept of putting groomers at the center of our attention is the driving force for another important mission of IV San Bernard, namely our vocation for training: for over ten years we have been organizing grooming courses for beginners and in-depth seminars held by Monique Van De Ven, the international technician at our headquarters. Furthermore, in recent years, over ten schools, recognized by Iv San Bernard, have been opened in Italy and around the world: a widespread presence which makes access to courses even more convenient. Our major drivers for internationalization are training programs (such as internships organized all over the world, from Russia to Taiwan to the USA) as well as increasing exports. Today the company is present in over 45 countries and it is synonym for quality in the field of professional cosmetic products for grooming and in that of equipment, accessories and training. Our philosophy is centered on both the quality of the product and the welfare of the animal, achieved through professionalism, quality and … a hint of irony.
